Teaching

I teach all levels of percussion from beginners to professionals. Pre-college students may study with me at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts in downtown Los Angeles. For those in college, I teach at Pasadena City College and California State University Fullerton School of Music where I am also the Percussion Area Coordinator. Special arrangements can be made for lessons at my house. Please contact me to inquire.

Policies

Students are expected to show up to lessons on time, well-prepared and having all materials with them. It is always my goal to make lessons fun, creative and exciting. One key element to an enjoyable, rewarding learning experience is consistent practice. I encourage students to follow the philosophy of pedagogue Dr. Shinichi Suzuki:

"Only Practice On The Days You Eat"
